Terje certainly isn’t afraid to do things his own way and do what’s best for the sport. Terje helped pave the way for organizations like the TTR by not participating in the 1998 Winter Olympics. Cutting through all the clutter, Terje highlighted the need for a system and a multitude of events run specifically for riders, by riders. In his earlier years, Terje destroyed the limitations of what was thought possible on a snowboard, going bigger, faster and stronger than everyone both in the pipe and on the mountain.
