Bio
Tyler isn’t your average skater. He admits to surfing, snowboarding and riding his dirt bike (all of which are frowned upon in the core skate world). He was born and raised in Orange County and says he’ll never leave. Basically, the 22-year-old skates because he loves to skate. Period.

Of all the places you've skated, where is your favorite?
It's got to be Bondi Beach, Australia and Prague in the Czech Republic. Stain Square in Prague is amazing. You can just post up all day with a boom box and skate.

What type of terrain do you like to skate most?
I'm a big "bump over things" kind of guy. I love to bump into barriers and bump to tables. I really like skating Jersey barriers too.

Typical day?
Ok folks, don't hate, but yeah, so wake up, put on some MJ moon walk to the kitchen, maybe some cookie crisps, maybe not...Shower sometimes then spray paint some money signs around my garage, then on my grip. Go skate around Southern California hopefully with my friends, but if not then solo, and then back home. Roll around the block, maybe some Taco Bell then Simpsons, soda, Skittles and dirty pillows.

What keeps you skating?
I like that feeling of accomplishment. I like landing a trick. I like getting ripped off.

Best memory from 2009?
In Brazil I was actually taking a contest really seriously. I went to bed early, didn't party. The next morning the contest was delayed because of this marine layer than had come in. Well, I found out my favorite DJ was playing in downtown rio that night. So...I was on stage until 5:30 in the morning and had to go straight to the contest. I didn't even change. I could barely walk, so I was surprised when I did one of the biggest ollies of the contest, but a judge wanted to teach me a lesson so I didn't do too well...
Change Country
