Probation Sunglasses
Our original Inmate® broke fashion rules. Probtation® is our idea of a repeat offender. Instead of separate lenses, it has a single contour of pure Plutonite® lens material. The sculptural frame takes advantage of C-5™, a lightweight alloy of five metal compounds. If you’ve never experienced the comfort of our straight-stem designs, you need to ditch ordinary shades that hook your ears and fit with unbalanced pressure points. Probation is engineered for all-day comfort, and when the heat is on, the Unobtainium® sleeves on the stems are there to increase grip with moisture.
Here’s the deal with a frame this innovative. Normally, when a single lens shield goes across both your eyes, you end up with optical distortion at the sides. Not so with Probation because it utilizes Polaric Ellipsoid™ geometry, an innovation of High Definition Optics® (HDO®) that maintains clarity all the way to the peripheral edges. Probation meets all ANSI Z80.3 standards for optical performance and precision, as well as Z80.3 basic impact standards. As far as UV protection goes, our proprietary lens material filters out 100% of all UV, not just UVA or UVB.
Check out the options for Probation, including Iridium® lens coatings that reduce glare and balance light transmission to maximize your vision. For environments where glare is a serious problem, consider Oakley HDPolarized lenses. They block 99% of reflected glare without the haze or optical distortion common with ordinary polarized lenses. Multiple frame/lens color combinations are available for Probation.

Return Policy
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your Oakley.com purchase, please call for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Customized product or product that has been abused may not be returned under any circumstances. For all other products, if the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it or provide you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to Oakley within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that was included with the product. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee.
15-Day Return Period (Electronics)
You must request an RMA for electronics products within 15 days of the date of original purchase.
30-Day Return Period
You must request an RMA for all other products within 30 days of the date of original purchase.
Restocking Fee
Unless prohibited by law, A 10% restocking fee will be charged on opened electronics products, unless the item is defective or damaged, or the wrong item was shipped to you.
Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee
Additional fees will be charged for any product missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals (i.e., any product not in "sellable" condition).
Please include the packing slip with your return and wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use a traceable and insurable form of mail for shipment. Oakley is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit.
