OAKLEY RELEASES TWO NEW ONESIGHT® SPECIAL EDITION FRAMES

Oakley, Inc. today announced the launch of two new, special-edition OneSight frames that will be sold exclusively at LensCrafters. With each sale of the special edition OneSight Currency™ ophthalmic frame and special edition OneSight Gascan® sun frame, Oakley and LensCrafters will provide a total of $20 USD to help fund OneSight programs dedicated to restoring and preserving clear vision for those who lack the means and access to proper eye care and eyewear.

The charitable contribution will be made on the purchase of each Oakley OneSight special edition frame sold at LensCrafters stores in the U.S., Canada & Puerto Rico, while supplies last. Luxottica Retail North America Inc. (LensCrafters) and Oakley, Inc. will each provide $10 USD contributions for qualifying purchases. Note that the contributions made by the companies are not tax deductible for the purchaser of the frame.

According to the World Health Organization, 284 million people worldwide suffer from poor vision simply because they cannot afford or do not have access to care. In some countries, a pair of eyewear costs more than a month’s salary. It is the mission of OneSight to restore and preserve clear vision to these people, as well as to protect those in high-risk areas from developing vision impairment from sun-related exposure.
