At Oakley, any mission is possible. Just ask Tom Cruise. With past, ultra specialized design work for Mission Impossible blockbuster films under its belt, The Big O dropped into the famous series’ latest blockbuster film, “Ghost Protocol.” As the film’s crew began gearing up for production on the 2012 release, the need for a super customized goggle/glass for Cruise to rock in particular scenes, began to surface. Not surprisingly, Oakley was the obvious first call.

Oakley + Art + Virginia Beach = A raging party. Exhibit O: September. Defiantly forgetting about the uncharacteristic earthquakes and a massive hurricane that threatened the Eastern Seaboard, VA locals sent off Summer (and hordes of tourists) – with big middle fingers in the air – the only way they know how. With style. Artistic style, that is. Local artists descended on the Oakley “Shady Lovers” Art Show, painting up the sickest eyewear on the Planet, while getting the place rockin’ with music and plenty of flowing beverages.

Iconic Style: Oakley Meets Stussy, “Buffalo Soldiers” Hijinx Drops
You remember the Stussy craze. Don’t you? Well they’re still at it. And they just teamed with Oakley to complete their military-inspired collection for the 2010 Holidays…affectionately known as “Buffalo Soldiers.” The two stylin’ brands collaborated to create a special Oakley Hijinx with the Stussy Logo etched on the lens – with some sick “Buffalo Soldiers” labeling on the arms.
